“Ferviente sin Causa,” featuring artist Juanpablo Junto, offers a glimpse into the immersion of action painting and performance art.

Drawing from the quintessential imagery of 1960s Western cinema, the film explores Juanpablo Junto through an outlaw sensibility — a fervent impulse toward art and creation, portraying him as an iconic and mystic cowboy figure against the backdrop of the Baja desert.

Accompanied by artists Juan Contreras, Ángel Baltazar Flores, Emiliano Morris, and Alicia Suárez from Otra Cosa Sin Nombre, who appear as anonymous masked figures, the film incorporates improvised music and sculptural interventions created on location, exploring moments in which the surrounding world transforms into a mysterious surreal space.

Shot entirely unscripted as a document of the creative process unfolding in real time, the presentation brings together daring artistic expression and cinematic modes of visual experience.
